Making A Difference

Students need to attend school every day to excel academically. When students are absent they miss valuable instruction that is critical to academic achievement. ONGB has awarded a total of $135,000 in Bonta Challenge grants to support school systems within the Oakland Unified School District to implement innovative approaches to increase average daily attendance.
